Be a part of the inaugural Burgoyne's Bridge 5K, a race through history at Hudson Crossing Park! Join us for a run/jog/walk on the trails that celebrates the rich history of the area we live in. You will be running over the Dix Bridge, which is located where General Burgoyne's "Bridge of Boats" was built in September 1777 to allow thousands of troops and artillery to cross the Hudson River.
This race is offered in conjunction with the Schuylerville Small Business Association's Turning Leaves Fall Festival happening afterward from 12noon-6pm. Plan to wander through the village for food, music, hands-on activities, and special offers all over town.
Like Hudson Crossing Park, this 5k is intended to be family-friendly, and therefore there is a registration discount for families... a family of three or more will cost $60. Start a new fall family tradition, support the park, learn about history, and have fun! Sign up TODAY!
We are aiming to make this a very special event for FAMILIES. With this in mind, we invite FAMILIES to register using the Multi Person sign-in to get the FAMILY RATE. The maximum one family will pay with this special feature is $60!
If you would like to register with a group of friends who you consider family, we hope that you will register individually and then show your "family-ness" through costumes, etc. on Race Day. After all, this is a FUNDRAISER for one of your favorite places and every dollar that is raised will help the park.
Bring out the kids and get your family running to support the park, enjoy fall fest and have a good time!
