Le Moyne College Virtual Dolphin Dash 2021

Dolphins get ready! Calling all runners and walkers to join us for the 2021 Virtual Dolphin Dash, a 5K run/walk event, organized by the 
Le Moyne College Alumni Association Board. Proceeds from the event will support student scholarship at Le Moyne College.

WHEN:

• Friday, June 4th - 6th 2021: Run or walk a 5K (3.1 miles) any time between June 4 and on June 6 (midnight to midnight).

LOCATION:

• Anywhere
• Please note: there will NOT be a 5K event on the Le Moyne College campus. This is a virtual only event.
  

TEAM COMPETITION:

• New this year! Team competition between graduation class years. Show your class pride and recruit your classmates to join in the fun!

REGISTRATION FEE:

• $20; includes a Dolphin Dash commemorative tee, while supplies last (cut-off date is May 19).
• $5; event only (no Dolphin Dash shirt)
• The run and walk will not be timed, but participants will be able to enter their times into RunSignup if they wish (see instructions below).

GIVEAWAY: COMMEMORATIVE DOLPHIN DASH T-SHIRT

• Participants at the $20 level will receive a Dolphin Dash commemorative T-shirt. Due to the pandemic, Commemorative t-shirts will be mailed to participants following the conclusion of the event. Please allow between 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. 
• The cut-off date to guarantee your event shirt is Wednesday, May 19. After May 19, shirt sizes may not be guaranteed for registrants.
• Event Shirt Pick Up: For local participants, we will host a shirt pick up at the Kelly Alumni House, located at 546 Fayette Blvd. and Springfield Rd. on Thursday, June 3, from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and 4 - 6 p.m.
• RAIN LOCATION: We will set up the shirt pick up on the screened-in porch, located toward the back of the house. Please enter through the front door of the Kelly Alumni House

PRIZES:

Please note: Prizes will not be awarded based on race times.

• Five randomly-selected participants will receive a $50 gift from the Barnes and Noble Le Moyne College Bookstore. 
  
  
• Dolphin Spirit Awards - Show us your school spirit by wearing your Green and GOLD! 
  
  
• Furthest Distance from the Heights Award - An award will be given to the participant who is participating in the virtual event from the furthest distance away from the Le Moyne campus.

We will award some fun prizes including a 2X Tier 1 Coaching Package (one month) from general sponsor, Miles and Macros, owned by Le Moyne alumna Lauren (Coon) Burdick '05 and Jared Burdick, for our Dolphin Spirit Awards and the Furthest Distance from the Heights Award.
