Sprint & Olympic Triathlon & AquaBike
Double Ti & Double Ti~AquaBike
There are NO CUT OFF TIMES on any event.
Start with a 750m swim in the crystal clear waters of Lake George. Then take a moderate hilly 12-mile bike ride followed by a 5K run on the scenery-rich courses hugging the shorelines of the lake. The Olympic participants will complete 2 loops of each course. Paratriathletes are welcome! Open to Relay Teams of 2 or 3.
Participants in the AquaBike competition will complete the event after the bike. Finishers can make their way to the Finish Line for their race medals. There are no relay team entries for the AquaBike.
*Double Ti - Race the Sprint AND the Olympic Tri (all athletes must finish the Sprint that begins at 7:00am and be back to the start line for the 9:00am Olympic Tri)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW BEFORE YOU REGISTER
THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO VEHICLES PERMITTED TO COME TO THE RACE SITE ON RACE DAY UNTIL AFTER THE OLYMPIC ATHLETES HAVE COMPLETED THE BIKE PORTION OF THEIR RACE.
THIS WILL ENSURE THE SAFETY OF ALL OF OUR PARTICIPANTS.
Race communications are sent out regularly via email. If you are NOT receiving these, you must contact the race administrator. It is your responsibility to know the information that is included in the Athlete Guide and to follow the procedures on race day for the safety of all of our athletes.
Please see the FAQ's regarding bringing dogs to this race.
SWIM COURSE
The swim is a 750m counter-clockwise triangular course. The Olympic triathletes will exit the water, run a short distance along the beach and return to do the same loop.
The beautiful clear waters of Lake George will be a little chilly but very manageable. Wet suits are recommended.
You are welcome to wear a personal swim buoy if you are more comfortable. We would ask that you start at the back of the pack so as to not interfere with other swimmers.
BIKE COURSE
12 mile bike course. Olympic participants will complete the course twice.
This is a fun, not too hilly course that takes you along the lakeshore.
The course is open to traffic.
There is no aid station on the bike course. One station in transition stocked with Hammer Nutrition HEED and Gels and water.
NO cut-off time!
Participants in the AquaBike competition will complete the event after the bike.
RUN COURSE
5K course run on quiet neighborhood roads.
Olympic participants will complete two loops of the run course.
The course is open to traffic but is very light at this time of year.
Fully stocked aid stations at every mile marker on the course with Hammer Nutrition products and more.
PARKING
THERE WILL BE NO PARKING AT THE RACE SITE. SPECTATORS, HANDICAPPED PARKING STICKERS, AND ATHLETES WILL ALL BE REQUIRED TO PARK OFF-SITE AND TAKE THE SHUTTLE BUS.
Bike drop-off on Friday evening is encouraged with overnight security provided.
There will be a shuttle bus provided on race day running from the Elks Lodge on 5 Tower Avenue (3 miles from race site) 5am - 5pm. SEE MAP BELOW.
YOU MUST PLAN ENOUGH TIME TO ALLOW FOR THE SHUTTLE BUS THAT WILL BE TRANSPORTING EVERY PARTICIPANT TO THE RACE SITE;
OR
YOU CAN PARK AT THE ELKS LODGE AND RIDE YOUR BIKE.
BIKES ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE BUS. IF YOU DO NOT DROP YOUR BIKE OFF ON FRIDAY, YOU WILL HAVE TO RIDE TO THE RACE SITE. PLAN AHEAD.
HELMETS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES
After the race is over - the shuttle bus will continue to run until all participants have left. FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY, INCLUDING YOUR OWN, THERE WILL BE NO VEHICLES PERMITTED NEAR THE RACE SITE. THIS WILL ALL BE EXPLAINED IN THE ATHLETE GUIDE AND SUBSEQUENT EMAILS.
IF YOU OR YOUR SPECTATORS PARK YOUR CAR NEAR THE SITE OR COME DOWN THE ROAD FOR DROP-OFF, WE WILL BE GIVING THE ATHLETE A DQ.
THIS IS FOR YOUR SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF ALL OF OUR ATHLETES. PLEASE FOLLOW THE RULES. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

This is a USAT sanctioned event and all participants must be a current member or purchase one-day event coverage at registration. For more information re: USAT membership levels click here.
If you are not a current USAT member you will be required to purchase one of the following during registration:
Annual Membership ~ $60. Youth 17&U ~ $10.
Bronze Membership: One day event coverage based on distance;
Sprint ~ $13. Olympic and Double Ti ~ $18. Relay Team members ~ $6 each.
Any coupons or discount codes are not retroactive. They must be used during your registration. If you do not know if your Tri Club has a discount code, please ask your club administrator.
A portion of your registration fee will be donated to the Ticonderoga Area Backpack Program

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Friday - 12p - 8pm - Packet Pick Up at race site & bike drop off - optional but highly recommended
Saturday - 7:00am - Sprint Triathlon & AquaBike
9:00am - Olympic Triathlon & AquaBike
**This race venue has no cell service available. Please understand that the Wilson Endurance Sports team will be on the race site beginning Thursday and will not be able to respond to messages, emails or phone calls.

Post-race food will be provided. Free to all participants and volunteers; for purchase by spectators. CASH ONLY
COURSE SUPPORT:
Water & Hammer Nutrition at start/finish, transition, and three locations on the run course. No fluids are offered on the bike course.
Port-a-johns at race start/finish
There will be no bike support at the venue. Please be prepared.
AquaBike
The AquaBike competition is open to individuals only. No relay teams.
Competitors begin the race with the triathletes. Complete the same swim and bike courses and their race is finished as they enter transition off of the bike. Make your way to the Finish Line for your finisher medal and post-race beverages.
RELAY TEAMS
Sprint & Olympic Triathlon can be entered as a relay team of 2 or 3 individuals.
No relay team is offered for AquaBike or Double Ti.
Individuals registering for a relay team will complete:
- Three-person relay teams; one leg of the race per entrant
- Two-person relay teams; one participant will complete two of the legs and the other will only complete one.
- Legs will not be split between registrants.
- Relay teams only compete against other relay teams. Teams can be made up of any gender and/or age.
We award Top 3 Relay Teams.
All members of the relay team will receive the race giveaways(when registered before the cut-off), the finisher medal, and all post-race food and beverages (Beer Garden only for those 21 and older).
- When registering for a relay team the first person will create and name the team.
- The following team members must also register and join the team to complete the USAT info and sign the waiver.
- Each team member will need to be a current USAT member OR purchase one-day event coverage during registration. $6 each.
RELAY TEAM RATES are per person.

If you have someone that is coming with you to the event we ask that they look over our volunteer list and choose a task and time that would work for them. When volunteers register early they will receive a race day t-shirt. They will also receive FREE food as well as entry into the STBC Beer Garden. Thank you for racing with us.
RULES:
- All races are USAT sanctioned and all rules and regulations apply, and there will be no refunds for this event or bib transfers.
- Race is held Rain or Shine.
- It is the participant's responsibility to know the rules for an event sanctioned by USA Triathlon and produced by Wilson Endurance Sports.
