Wonderland Obstacle Workshop!

WOW! The Wonderland Obstacle Workshop is here! Come join a true OG of OCR, Kevin "The Mudman" LaPlatney, at one of the Northeast's premier outdoor obstacle course facilities, Obstacle Wonderland in Wallkill NY, for a workshop clinic to learn skills and practice techniques on all the obstacles that your upcoming OCR is going to throw at you!  Students age 14 thru adult will pick up tips on how to best attack the most tricky obstacles to avoid dreaded burpees and time sucking penalties, including: monkey bars, rings, rope climb, wall climbs, traverse wall, Olympus, spear throw, and many more! After our instructional portion, we'll then set up to run a short practice course simulation to get that in-game feel for race day.

But wait, there's MORE!  All participants will receive a nice swag goodie bag and earn a FREE SPARTAN RACE entry good for any* event this year, such as the nearby fall Tri State Spartan weekend at New Hampton NY on Oct 18-19.

Coach Kevin brings with him 16 years of racing experience as he closes in on 300 career events and 100 podium appearances.  He is one of a handful of members from the original Spartan SGX certification class, and has since added on their Obstacle Specialist and Spartan Youth credentials to his resume as well. Kevin is based out of Long Island and runs the Mudman Training OCR bootcamp group there, and is the founder of Obstacle Athletics OCR/ninja warrior gym. He also serves as a consultant for a number of race companies and events, and is the Race Director for Obstacle Wonderland alongside owner and founder Gabe Capobianchi.
