We’re partnering with the Hudson Valley Renegades to bring you a unique running experience!
Whether you're completely new to running or just looking for a shorter, low-pressure distance, this route is designed to be purely enjoyable. We’ve mapped out a 2.5K course that takes you through the stadium area, with both the starting line and the final stretch happening right inside the ballpark.
For the next generation of runners, the kids' 0.5-mile dash locks in two laps entirely inside the park walls—giving them the full stadium experience from the ground up.
Please make sure that your Run Signup account is linked to an email address you actually use and check regularly. We'll be sending an email a few days before the event with important details about packet pickup and other event logistics, and we'd hate for you to miss out on this information.
Home Run Perks
All race registrations (kids' .5-mile dash and 2.5K run) include a ticket to that afternoon's Hudson Valley Renegades game at 2:05 PM! A link to claim your tickets will be included in the detailed email we send a few days before the event. After you finish running, you can head out, freshen up, and come back to the ballpark to catch the game and enjoy the rest of the day in the stands!

Both races will take place at Heritage Financial Park, home to the Hudson Valley Renegades.
The Kids .5 Mile Dash will be at 8:30 a.m.
The 2.5K Run will be at 9:00 a.m.
Yes! Whether you plan to run or walk or run/walk the 2.5K, this race is very beginner friendly and all are welcome.
We can accommodate strollers for this event, but unfortunately, we can't accommodate furry friends, so no dogs are allowed.
Bib and SWAG pick-up will be at Fleet Feet Poughkeepsie, likely starting on Saturday, 8/15 and then at Financial Heritage Park on Sunday, 8/16. An email with additional details will be sent on Friday, 8/14. Please don't stop by the store before this email goes out, or you will be disappointed that we don't have your SWAG available.
The shirts are Men's/Unisex T-Shirt and run true to size. To keep race costs low, we order the exact number of shirts we need and are unfortunately unable to accommodate size changes once the order is placed. Most participants wear their RUNegades shirts on race day, which is highly encouraged!
We will have a cooler of water and cups near the start/finish area. That said, participants should bring anything they'll need or want to drink during the event and carry it with them.
The event will happen rain or shine, and we would only delay the start time (or cancel) if there were dangerous conditions such as thunder and lightning.
No. Since this is a timed race, bibs cannot be transferred. If you're unable to participate for whatever reason, your SWAG will still be available for pickup at Fleet Feet Poughkeepsie at your convenience through 8/23/26. Since we order race supplies as registrations come in, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds or credits toward a future event.
