Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 19, 2025, and take part in The Warwick Historical Society’s 5th Annual George Washington Day 5K & Fun Run in Warwick, NY. This exciting event features a USA Track & Field Certified 5K course (certified in 2023), offering a fast and accurate route for all participants.

Start Format: Self-seeded start from the official START/FINISH arch
Timing & Scoring:
Overall winners are determined by gun time
Age-group awards are based on chip time
Professional Timing: This event is chip-timed by Second Wind Race Timing

Race Day Registration 7:15am - 8:15am
Open starting line from 8:30 - 8:45AM *Elite and competitive runners are encouraged to line up first.

All scoring is based on Chip Time for Age Group awards.

Our Course has been USA Track and Field 5K Certified, NY22048DNB!
The run starts and finishes at Veterans Memorial Park, 29 Forester Avenue, Warwick.
Restrooms will be available at the muster area.
Water stations will be in place on the course at Mile 1 and Mile 2.

Packet pick up for pre-registered runners will be July 17 and July 18 from 12pm to 8pm at The Warwick Historical Society, 1810 House, 80 Main Street, Warwick, NY 10990.
