Description
The 6th annual 5K Run for Veterans will take place on Sunday May 19, 2019. The fun run takes place throughout Thompson Park beginning at the large park pavilion. All ages are welcome for the walk/run and strollers are welcome.
**Please note the $5 discount for Veterans/Active Duty Military while registering** **Children 10 and under are FREE**
Race day registration begins at 8:30am with the race following at 10am.
The 5K raises funds for the NNY Veterans Outreach Center who assists homeless or at risk Veterans in Jefferson, Lewis and St Lawrence counties.

Sponsorship
We invite you to participate in the 5K Run for Veterans as a sponsor! As a sponsor, your sponsorship helps defray the cost of organizing the event and invites you to become involved in the community. Funds received from the sponsorships will be used to purchase t-shirts for registered race participants, complimentary snacks and drinks, and other race expenses. Any additional money from sponsorships will go toward our fundraising goal of $5,000.

Free tables for business or event promotion is available with or without sponsorship and can be set up before, during and after the race for runners to visit. If you are interested in setting up a table, please fill out the attached form accordingly and return to kdrake@ucdevelopment.org
