Run, Walk, or Bike as an individual or with a team 716 miles circling Lake Erie OR utilize our virtual bridge across the lake to complete 716 kilometers (445 miles).
Start your adventure December 1, 2020 and complete by August 1, 2021.
The intent of V716RUN is to encourage runners, walkers and bicyclists to maintain their needed level of consistent training leading right up to RUN716, 2021 which is now scheduled for Sunday August 1, 2021.
V716RUN to RUN716 will support Feedmore of WNY and the Hillary Grace Foundation fighting opiod abuse.
Individual or Team Relay
Take on the challenge individually, or as a relay team where each person contributes their mileage to the total.
How does V716RUN work?
Sign up individually or as a team of any size as a runner/walker, biker, or combination runner/walker/biker.
Choose whether you will be completing the 716 miles or 716 kilometers utilizing the virtual bridge.
Log in your miles completed daily or weekly on the website.
Along your trip around Lake Erie, you will arrive virtually at various cities and towns which will earn you beer tokens for Flying Bison Brewery.
The virtual course starts and ends at Flying Bison Brewery, 840 Seneca Street, Buffalo NY which is also the start and finish of RUN716 15k.
Teams - Relay
Relay Teams
For those not wanting to take on the challenge all by yourself, you can also form "relay" teams. Each person contributes distance and time to the events as they choose. These are combined into a total for each race, each person shares in the completion of a race.
Each team member registers in the appropriate Relay Team category and creates or chooses your team.

Drawings (with multiple winners) will be held each month during our event for $25 Gift Certificates from Runners Roost which can be used on Brooks running shoes and apparel.
Tim Herzog from Flying Bison Brewery will buy you a beer (or root beer for those under 21) for every 200 miles completed and at the finish line to celebrate your accomplishment. Tim will be serving this as individuals qualify on the 1st Saturday of each month between 12 and 2 PM.
Registration Pick up items will be offered at Flying Bison Brewery the 1st Saturday of every month between the hours of 12:00 and 2:00 beginning December 5, 2020. Items can be shipped for a small additional fee.
Submitting Miles
How do I go about submitting the miles that I have completed each day? Each person or team will have a specific user ID and user Link assigned to them at the end of the registration process. Login to the official website (www.716RUN.com) using the user ID or user Link. Your activity entry form can be found by pressing the "My Entry" button on the Home/Welcome page.
Event pages will display the participant map including your position, your stats, the Leaderboard and mileage entries.
