Parking Information
Driving to the Race
Participants may park in the public parking lot located directly next to the iconic Parachute Jump and the Coney Island Boardwalk (1711 Riegelmann Boardwalk, Brooklyn, NY 11224). This is the closest parking option to the start/finish area.
📍 Google Maps: Event Parking
- Parking Fee: $27 (special event rate)
- Parking is first-come, first-served.
There is also limited metered and free street parking available on nearby streets, including portions of West 17th Street, West 19th Street, Surf Avenue, and surrounding side streets. Availability is limited, especially on summer weekends, so we recommend arriving early if you plan to look for street parking.
Public Transportation
Brooklyn participants are encouraged to take public transportation whenever possible.
Take the D, F, N, or Q subway to Coney Island–Stillwell Avenue Station, then enjoy a short 8–10 minute walk to the Boardwalk and Parachute Jump. Several MTA bus routes also serve the area, including the B36, B64, B68, B74, and B82. Please remember to check for any planned weekend service changes before traveling.
Carpooling Encouraged
To help reduce traffic and parking congestion, we strongly encourage participants to carpool with friends, family, or whenever possible. It makes race morning easier for everyone!
Follow Up Strategy
- FOLLOW-UP with runners and sponsors
- Thank them all for their support
- Invite them to special events you host throughout the year
- Continue building the relationship - the RAGV builds your network for support year-round!
