Refunds & Withdraws
Refund and Withdrawal Policy for the No Business 100
At the No Business 100, we strive to create a runner-first experience while balancing the logistical challenges of hosting a premier trail endurance race. To this end, we have updated our Refund and Withdrawal Policy to be more transparent and fair for all participants.
Key Policy Changes:
-
No Deferrals: We will no longer offer deferrals to future events.
-
Tiered Refunds: Refunds will be provided based on the timing of your withdrawal, as outlined below.
-
Waitlist Contingency: Refunds are contingent upon another runner taking your spot via the RunSignup conditional waitlist.
-
Registration Protection Insurance: We offer RunSignup’s Registration Protection Insurance, which provides reimbursement for non-refundable registration fees if you are unable to participate due to covered reasons such as injury, illness, or unforeseen travel issues. For more details, please review the policy during registration.
Tiered Refund Schedule
Refund amounts will depend on the timing of your withdrawal:
-
Before April 1st (206 days or more before the race): 80% refund of your registration fee.
-
Before September 1st (54 to 205 days before the race): 50% refund of your registration fee.
-
September 1st to Race Day (less than 54 days before the race): 25% refund of your registration fee.
Refunds apply only to the registration fee and exclude processing fees.
Conditions for Refunds
-
Refunds are not automatic and are contingent upon another runner successfully registering from the conditional waitlist to fill your spot.
-
Once your spot has been filled, you will be notified, and the refund will be processed.
-
If your spot is not filled by the waitlist, no refund will be issued regardless of withdrawal timing.
-
The refund amount is contingent on when the other runner fills your spot, not when you initiate the refund request.
How to Withdraw
-
Log into your RunSignup account.
-
Navigate to your registration for the No Business 100.
-
Select the withdrawal option and confirm your request.
-
Your spot will then be offered to the next runner on the waitlist.
Why This Policy?
This policy allows us to:
-
Provide more flexibility for runners who can no longer participate.
-
Ensure fairness by filling event slots and minimizing the impact on other participants.
-
Maintain the quality and experience of the No Business 100 for all involved.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this updated policy. If you have any questions, please contact us at nobusiness100trailultra@gmail.com.
