3rd Annual Octoberfest 5K

We invite you to become a sponsor of the Haddonfield Area Lions Octoberfest 5K and Fun Walk on Saturday, October 1. The race will start at Christ the King Regional School, Haddonfield, and loop through Pennypacker Park in Cherry Hill. All money raised by sponsorships and race fees goes to local area charities benefiting those with visual impairments and blindness. Our service club does not keep any proceeds for ourselves or for organizing events. Please know that we understand what a difficult time it has been with the day-to-day pandemic and economy, and we sympathize with the struggles area businesses continue to face. We too have wrestled with these challenges in trying to provide for those who need our services and funding.

Every October, Blindness Awareness Month brings a heightened focus on the blind and visually impaired community and the realities of living without sight. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), “everyone, if they live long enough, will experience at least one eye condition in their lifetime.” This race was held for the first time last year and over 300 people participated. We are already anticipating more runners and walkers!

The sponsorship levels are below:

Platinum - $1000

• Race Starter
• Industry Exclusivity
• Up to three (3) runners can participate at no charge
• One (1) company-branded item in runners’ swag bags
• Name or logo included in printed and electronic promotional materials including website, social media and advertising

Gold - $500

• Up to three (3) runners can participate at no charge
• One (1) company-branded item in runners’ swag bags
• Name or logo included in printed and electronic promotional materials including website, social media and advertising

Silver - $250

• One (1) company-branded item in runners’ swag bags
• Name or logo included in printed and electronic promotional materials including website, social media and advertising

Bronze - $150

• Name or logo included in printed and electronic promotional including website, social media and advertising
