Forever Fitness 24 - Running For Autism "To Benefit The Autism Society of Greater Akron"

Forever Fitness 24 will host a 5k/Mile walk to benefit The Autism Society of Greater Akron (ASGA).

Come join us to help raise money for a great cause! We will have Food Trucks, Face Painting, Raffle Baskets & other activities as well!

ASGA which is an affiliate of the Autism Society of America, the nations leading grassroots autism organization. ASGA serves Summit, Stark, Medina, Portage and Wayne counties. The Autism Society's mission is improving the lives of all affected by autism, and includes a 24 hour help line, educational programming, and advocacy initiatives at all levels of government.

With the increase in prevalence of autism, the requests for help have also increased dramatically. the Autism Society responds to hundreds of inquiries from the greater Akron region every year about diagnosis, treatment, educational options, ad local resources.

Event Schedule:

Early Packet Pick-Up: August 10th (8:00am - 8:00pm) @ Forever Fitness 24

7:00 - 8:00am: Race Day Check In/Packet Pick-Up

8:30am-8:50am: Opening Pep Rally - Zumba warm up

9:00am: 5k Start

9:15am - 9:30am: 1 Mile Walk Start

10:30am: Awards Ceremony

Parking: 

You may use sections of the Tri-County Plaza parking lot that are not sectioned off for the race to park. Parking is also available across the street in the Springfield Assembly of God Church lot.

Arrival:

Please make your way to the starting line with your race bib pinned to the front of your shirt. Arrive at the starting line 30 minutes before the start of your race. If you were unable to check-in on Friday, August 10, you may pick up your t-shirt and race bib at the check-in location day of the race.

Spectators:

If you would like to cheer on runners during the race, you may park in the Lakemore parking lot. We would like for everyone to stay for the closing ceremonies. If you would like to sit down, please bring your own lawn chairs.
