Selfless Elf 5K

Put on your festive holiday-themed costumes or running gear and dash during the 5th annual Selfless Elf 5K Run/Walk benefiting the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank.  The race will begin and end at the Foodbank located at 350 Opportunity Parkway, Akron, Ohio, 44307- which is easily accessible from route 59 and near downtown Akron. There is plenty of room inside the Foodbank for packet pickup and post-race awards!

The race will be chip-timed at both the start and finish lines to achieve the most accurate race results possible.
The race will have two separate categories during registration, running and walking.
Runners: If you plan to run the full course or run and walk, please register as a runner.
Competative Walkers: If you plan to competative walk the course in its entirety please register as a walker.
Both runners and competative walkers will begin at 8:00AM, but will have different bib colors to distinguish between the categories.

Participants registered by December 1, will receive a long-sleeve special edition race t-shirt and coordinating striped elf socks. All others are subject to the quantity and sizes available.  For the safety of all participants, we will follow traditional running etiquette at the starting line with all walkers starting behind the runners.  For additional information, please visit selflesself.com or call the Foodbank's Event Specialist Megan Birman at 330.777.2318.
