Heroes for the Homeless

BECAUSE EVERY CHILD DESERVES A HOME

Join us on a virtual 5k/1 mile Fun Walk, Run and Roll July 15 through July 31, 2020.  Have some fun and help us to raise awareness about homeless children and their families. Interfaith Hospitality of Greene County, an affiliate of Family Promise, is excited to invite you to register and participate in this free event.  

IHN offers temporary housing, meals and resources for families while helping them find permanent housing. We are a 501(c)3 and donations are greatly appreciated. All donations will benefit IHN of Greene County, Schneider House of Hope, an affiliate of Family Promise. Shirts are $12 for and must be ordered by July 22. You may pick them up on Saturday, August 1, at the Desai Center, 101 Bellbrook Avenue, Xenia, Ohio, between 1pm and 3pm.

Heroes for the Homeless is a virtual run for the whole family to support IHN.  As a virtual run, you can walk, run or ROLL anytime between July 15 and July 31. You are encouraged to dress as a SUPERHERO to help raise awareness for the Schneider House of Hope.  There are prizes for the best Girls Costume, best Boys Costume and best Adult Costume.  Choose your own route in your neighborhood, bike path, park, or any safe location you choose and run/walk/jog or roll to complete the virtual event.  Even though the event is virtual you can submit your results to be posted along with others who complete the race.  Send your pictures to #heroes4homeless.

This is a free event to raise awareness about Family Homelessness in Greene County. Donations are always appreciated.  Buy a shirt by July 22 for $12.00.
