BLADENSBURG SERTOMA CLUB 5K RUN AND WALK

The Bladensburg Sertoma Club has been serving the Bladensburg community and surrounding areas since 2008. The Bladensburg Sertoma Club is devoted to servicing mankind some of which include: organizing and serving at community events, installing walking paths, sponsoring families in need during the holidays, giving gas cards to those traveling to hospitals with loved ones. The list goes on and on. This event is to celebrate small town living and small town community in a fun and healthy way. 100% of proceeds will go the Bladensburg Sertoma Club to further their outreach work.

RACE COURSE

Starting at the old elementary school, this course will head south out of town to a challenging hill with a turn-around. After heading back into town, the course will continue through picturesque small town Bladensburg. The final leg of the race will be the walking path around the ball fields which was installed by the Bladensburg Sertoma Club.

 

STARTING TIME

Saturday, August 25 ~ 8am

 

AWARDS

Awards will be given to the top three overall winners, male and female. Additionally, awards will be issued to the top three female/males in each of the following age categories: Under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

 

RACE PACKETS AND FINISH LINE PERKS

Packets will include race t-shirt with official race moto you won’t want to miss. Finish line food and beverage.

Register on race day starting at 7:00 a.m. until 7:45 am only

Register prior to August 8th - $25       

(Those registered by August 8th are guaranteed a race shirt)
After August 8th - $30
