Families will be able to compete against other families this year in the race!
Scored like a traditional cross country meet, runners finishing places within their respective division will be used to determine the winner. Each family should be made up of no more than 5 runners. The top 3 finishing places from each family will be scored. The lowest 3 finishing places for each family will be added together to come up with a family score. The lowest family score will win the race. Ties will be decided by the cumulative time of the top three finishers in each family.
The following list is considered family for purposes of family scoring.
We would like to also encourage runners to join social groups in our race. Although social groups will not be scored like families, it's always more fun to run with your friends and co-workers. Members from gyms, work friends, running clubs, etc are welcome to create groups which will be reflected as a team in the results. Unlike the families, there is no limit to how many runners can join your social group.
