The Run for Chief Race is back, honoring the life and legacy of Jaden 'Jay Chief' Woodard! This race embodies the LIVE LIKE CHIEF mantra—celebrating kindness, love, and a little friendly competition. Join us on June 21st to run and remember Jay Chief’s incredible spirit. Stick around afterward for a special celebration of his amazing life! All funds raised will be donated to Jaden's Fund at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital's Heart Institute!
Donations
Since last year's race, we have started a fund in Jaden's name at Cincinnati Children's Hospital! This fund now allows for tax-deductible donations which can be made here. It is encouraged to donate using this link rather than donating through the Run Sign Up webpage.
Over the past two years your donations have been used for:
- An all-inclusive day at Kings Island for patients and their families
- Christmas gifts for the patients and their siblings
- Lunches for the doctors, nurses, and support staff that provide world-class care and more!

Run for Chief 5K
Our NEW Relay Race!
At this year's Run for Chief race there will be a 4-leg relay race with teams composed of 4 people! Each person will run a 1 mile loop around Sawyer Point beginning and ending at the Start/Finish line! When signing up, you can create a new team or join a team with 3 of your best friends!
Want to do the relay but don't have 3 other people to do it with? Join the 'HEART' team and we will assign you to a team before race day!
Sign up before May 1st to ensure that your bibs have your team name on them!
