General Race Information
Sign up to participate in the 5th Annual 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk for Brain Injury Awareness! This year's race will be held virtually. All participants that sign up by March 8th, 2021 are guaranteed a race t-shirt, and all others will be offered on a first-come first-served basis. All participants that register by March 15th, 2021 are guaranteed a finisher medal, and all others will be offered on a first-come first-served basis. Participants are encouraged to wear blue (the color for brain injury awareness) or green (the color for traumatic brain injury awareness)! We also encourage you to share your participation using the hashtag #BIA5K2021 on social media.
This event is hosted by the undergraduate student organization Buckeyes Raising Awareness in Neuroscience (BRAIN). All proceeds benefit our NeuroNights program, a joint initiative between The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, The Ohio State University Chronic Brain Injury program, and BRAIN to provide comprehensive communal and wellness support for brain injury survivors. After the run – custom race medals will be awarded to the top male and female overall finishers in each age group. Prizes will also be awarded to our top 5 fundraisers!
