Description

OSU student organization Buckeyes for Public Health is hosting their inaugural 5K! Competitive and noncompetitive runners alike are welcome to join us on Sunday, April 7th for some family friendly fun! Participants will have the opportunity to earn prizes, make new friends, and raise money for underprivileged grade school athletes in the community. Times will be collected by hand and uploaded to this page and to https://www.runningoutreach.org/ where more information about the cause is available. Race Day Info: 

Sign-in, along with the start/finish line, will be located outside the Bike Hub near the fields by the RPAC, with parking space available in the stadium parking lot. Sign-in will open at 12:00pm, with one of the youth running program coaches from The Running Outreach Initiative leading a pre-race warmup at 1:00pm. The race will begin at 1:30pm, with the route available to view here. Drinks and snacks will be provided, and awards and the announcement of our raffle winner will follow soon after every runner has finished. 

Participants have plenty to look forward to in terms of goodies! All participants, in addition to winning a medal at the finish line, will get a free ticket for our raffle for a $50 Pitaya gift card, where you can donate $1 per additional raffle ticket to increase your chances. Male and female winners will each be awarded a gift basket which includes two Gateway Film Center tickets, five Nothing Bundt Cake coupons, two One Jump Hour passes to Big Air Trampoline Park, and a delicious snack.
