Description
This is a virtual 5K race being hosted in unified effort by the ten Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Columbus, Ohio area. Participants will choose their own course but are required to upload a photo, with their times, from their run that includes a Columbus area landmark from the Landmarks List below. The goal is to have fun while raising money for NC4K, which is dedicated to supporting pediatric cancer patients and their families. The format for this race is virtual but the impact in real....and so are the cool t-shirts, goodies and awards!
Landmarks List: Ohio Stadium, Columbus Zoo, Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park, Scioto Grove Metro Park, Blacklick Woods Metro Park, Pontifical College Josephinum, Field of Corn (with Osage Orange Trees) in Dublin, First Responders Park in Hilliard, Easton Town Center fountains, the Gavel Sculpture downtown and the Scioto Audubon Metro Park.
