Dear Friends, Supporters, and Neighbors:
It is with deep sadness that we are announcing the cancellation of the Clintonville 5K. After not meeting in person for two years, the 5K Committee found it difficult to get the number of runners to make this a break-even event. We, the parent volunteers who have spent countless hours coordinating and producing this event this year, are especially disappointed.
The Clintonville 5K has always been a fun community event and a great fundraiser for our schools. We thank you for all of your support this year and all the previous years!

Race Day Timeline
6:45 am - Race Day Check-In/Registration opens
8:00 am - 1-mile fun run/walk begins
8:30 am - 5K run/walk begins
9:30 am - Awards
Early Packet Pickup
In-person participants can pick up their race gear at the Whetstone High School parking lot (4405 Scenic Dr Columbus 43214) on Friday, June 10, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, or on Saturday, June 11, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Virtual participants can choose to pick up their packets at Whetstone High School parking lot during packet pickup hours, or can choose to have their items shipped directly to their door during the registration process for an additional $10. Race packets will be mailed out on Monday, June 20, for all virtual participants who select to have their packets mailed.
Running for the schools!
Profits from the registration fees will go to the school designated by the individual racer at the time of registration. Profits from registration fees without a specific school designation will be equally shared among the participating schools. All participants will also have the ability to make a donation to an individual school's PTO/PTA during the registration process.
Awards
Awards will be given to the top three overall male finishers and top three overall female finishers in the 5K. All participants for the 1 mile fun run/walk will receive a wooden medallion.
Submit your virtual results!
Complete your 5K or 1-mile run/walk between June 18 and June 25, then report your virtual results on the site by following the instructions here: https://runsignup.com/Race/Clintonville5K/Page/how-to-submit-virtual-results Reporting results is optional and not required.
