The most meaningful 5K of the year can't be stopped by COVID-19! Lifeline of Ohio's 21st Dash for Donation will look a little different this year - due to limitations for in-person gatherings, we'll come together in a new way to celebrate the gift of life through our Virtual Dash for Donation being held July 11-18, 2020! Instead of holding the Dash on ONE day, we would like to extend it for EIGHT days, to reflect the number of lives one organ donor can potentially save.
For registered participants, please watch for our virtual event toolkit in the coming weeks, which will provide suggestions on how to participate in the eight-day (virtual) extravaganza and help us honor the gifts of organ, eye and tissue donors and celebrate a recipient's second chance at life.
Cost: For 2020, registration has been reduced to $8.50 which is equal to the amount of lives that can be saved and healed through organ, eye and tissue donation. Cost includes a pre-race bib, an online finisher certificate and a finisher medal.
The Dash for Donation has historically been Lifeline of Ohio's largest fundraiser to support our bereavement programming. We encourage all Dash participants to come together, virtually, to fundraise and support our mission and donor families.
