ThriveOn is excited to invite you, your family and your fellow Franklin County Cooperative employees to join us at the inaugural Franklin County 5K & ThriveOn Challenge! Join us at Wolfe Park at 9 a.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2019. All Franklin County Cooperative employees and dependents (spouses/domestic partners and children) are welcome to participate in the run/walk whether you are a competitive runner, a casual jogger or just want to get outside to enjoy a nice walk.
All Cooperative employees and their dependents ages 9+ are eligible to participate in the 5K. There will be a FREE kid’s race for children 8 and under. Registration for the Franklin County 5K and ThriveOn Challenge is $30. However, ThriveOn will reimburse $15 to all registrants who participate in the race. Reimbursements will appear as additional, taxable income on the employee’s paycheck.
Registered participants will receive a t-shirt, a finisher medal, and race bag. Children 8 and under participating in the FREE kid’s race will receive a finisher medal and a race bib.
Early packet pickup will be held at Columbus Running Company's Dublin location (6465 Perimeter Dr 43016) on Friday, October 11 from 10a-8p and Saturday, October 12 from 10a-6p.
Packets may also be picked up on race morning near the start line at Wolfe Park beginning at 7:30 a.m.
There is parking at Wolfe Park, across Broad St at St Charles Preparatory School, and a bit south at Academy Park. For additional parking information, please view the parking map (subject to change, final details will be provided during race week).
7:00 a.m. – Volunteers arrive
7:30 a.m. – Race day packet pickup begins
9:00 a.m. – Kids Race begins
9:05 a.m. – Participants must be at the start line for the pre-race safety briefing
9:10 a.m. – Foreword from Guest Speaker(s)
9:15 a.m. – The Franklin County 5K & ThriveOn Challenge takes off! No late starts will be allowed
10:15 a.m. – Awards presentation
11:00 a.m. – Race is finished, all participants, volunteers, and staff must be off of the course
Individual and agency awards will be presented directly following the race.
