Early Packet Pickup

Save time in line on race morning and get your race gear early! Use one of the many early packet pickup options to get your race bag, shirt, and bib number in advance of race day.

• Monday, September 9, from 10 AM - 8 PM at Columbus Running Company's Westerville location (50 N State St 43081)
• Tuesday, September 10, from 3 PM - 7 PM at the Residence Inn Columbus Airport (4294 International Gateway 43219)
• Wednesday, September 11, from 7 AM - 3 PM at the Residence Inn Columbus Airport (4294 International Gateway 43219) OR from 5:30 PM - 8 PM at Edison Brewing Company (785 Science Blvd 43230)
• Thursday, September 12, from 7 AM - 7 PM at the Residence Inn Columbus Airport (4294 International Gateway 43219)
• Friday, September 13, from 9 AM - 3 PM at the Airfield Maintenance Building (4605 Bridgeway Ave 43219)

Parking

Free race day parking will be at the Airside Business Park (4510 Bridgeway Ave., Columbus, OH 43219) directly across from the Airfield Maintenance Facility. Carpooling with your friends and family is encouraged.

Race Day Timeline

7:30 AM - Race day packet pickup will begin. There will be no race day registration.

8:45 AM - Packet pickup closes and participants must be at the start line for a safety briefing.

9:00 AM - The John Glenn International Runway 5K Run & Walk takes off! No late starts will be allowed.

10:00 AM - Awards! 

10:30 AM - Race is finished, all participants, volunteers, and staff must be off of the course.

Restrictions

- Bags and backpacks will not be permitted on-site

- No pets are permitted on-site

- Only registered participants wearing bib numbers are allowed on the course. Non-registered spectators can greet participants at the finish line.

- Pursuant to ORC 2923.1212 deadly weapons or dangerous ordnances of any kind are not permitted on the premises

Safety

To ensure safety, all participants must remain on the marked course/pavement. All packages, participants, and spectators are subject to screening upon entering the race staging area. Strollers will be permitted on the course and are also subject to inspection. Children riding in strollers must remain in the strollers for the duration of the race. Only children who are registered for the event will receive medals and bibs.  

Weather

The event will be held rain or shine. The race may be canceled in the event of severe weather or other factors preventing the safe operation of the airport and race. In the event of cancellation, refunds will not be given.

Swag

Registered participants will receive a t-shirt, a finisher medal, a race bag, and other goodies!
