Kappa Delta Shamrock 5K Run 2023

The Sigma Kappa chapter of Kappa Delta at The Ohio State University will host its first Shamrock 5k Run to raise money for Prevent Child Abuse America and to locally support the Center for Family Safety and Healing of Columbus. Kappa Delta will host its 5k run on Saturday, March 25th, 2023. The Shamrock Project is a national Kappa Delta program, that both collegian and alumnae support, to raise money for the national and local child abuse prevention organizations.

We are offering a flat rate for all registrations of $25, which includes your number and a complimentary t-shirt that will be available at both Packet Pick-up on Friday March 24th or at the Race Day check-in. If you did not pre-register, we cannot guarantee we will have a shirt available for you.

Online Race Registration Closes: Thursday March 23rd 2023 at 11:59 P.M.

Registration is also available onsite on the day of the race starting at 11 A.M. Look for the registration table close to the start line of the race. Day of Race Registration will cost $45 and will be Venmo or PayPal only. 

Day of Race Instructions: The run will be held on March 25th at Smith Farms on the trail next to the parking lot off of 3285 Watkins Rd. The run will begin promptly at 12 P.M., so we suggest arriving a little earlier to check in. Please stay after you cross the finish line for awards. 

Race Packets: Race packets will be available at Packet Pick-Up at the Kappa Delta Chapter House- Friday, March 24th from 3pm - 8pm. Race day registration and packet pick-up at the starting line will be Saturday, March 25th from 10:45-11:45 AM. All t-shirt orders MUST be picked up at one of these times. Orders will not be shipped or mailed out. 

Awards: Awards will be presented to the first, second, and third place male and female finishers.
