Description

When: Thursday, November 3rd, 6:30pm, CRC's Short North Location.

What: 1. Pre-order a pair of Men's 3/4 Tights using the 'Store' link on the left of this page. 2. Join us for the free Manpri Grand Prix and feel the bliss of running in manpris with other well dressed, intelligent men.  You can also register for the run here.

Who: Any man who has purchased a pair of running man capris. Haven't yet? Pre-order some CRC custom capris online, right here and now, using the store link on the left. We'll have them for you at the run. If you can't make it to the run, you can either pick them up at a CRC or we'll deliver them to you for free as part of our CRC delivery system. CRC custom capri's will sell out. We recommend reserving some now. Are you a female? You're welcome to join us for the run as well, but only if you are wearing your capris!

Run: We'll go for a short run to experience those sweet Capris. The first mile is to break them in, like the warm-up laps at the Indy 500. North on High, left on 3rd, and South on Dennison to Goodale Park. Then we'll do laps around Goodale Park, which is about a mile per lap. When you've experienced the bliss of man capris enough for one night, just cut over on Buttles to High Street and you're back at the CRC. Most will do one to three laps for a total for 2-4 miles, but feel free to run as long as you like.

Perks: Select men's apparel and shoes will be 15% off marked prices, one night only. We'll stay open until 8:30pm. We'll have some snacks and adult beverages that rhyme with deer.  We will also be debut the new running line from 2Undr, a leader in performance underwear in men. One night only specials!

Why a Manpri Run?

Men. Women have lots of secrets. I'm guessing they keep these secrets from men because of jealousy. Men can do things like peeing standing up. Men don't have to grow a child in them for nine months straight. Some of us men here at the CRC have discovered one of these secrets. Yes, we may be a little bit jealous as well, but we're only sharing it because this is something that any runner needs to know, man or woman.

The Capri is the most amazing thing a person can run in.

Men, go to your local gym. It could be 80 degrees in there, and most women are rocking their capris. Look outside in November when its 42 outside. See that woman jogging down the street? She's rolling in her capris. Ever heard of Athleisure? It's mostly women running around town in their capris!

The Capri is the most amazing thing a person can run in. It's time that every man, especially the running man, steps forward and takes claim to comfort. Think about it. This is what a capri can do for you:

1. Run in them from about any temperature from 25 degrees to 75. Ain't much on those ankles to get cold when it's 25. When it's warmer, it's not much different than your old pair of shorts.
2. Run in the rain. Those baggy shorts are just flopping around your legs and sticking in all the wrong places. Those capris are going to stay the same, sunny, misty, or in a downpour.
3. Protect from chafing. As a man you have a little more down there than just thighs that might rub a little raw. Throw in a pair of 2Undr briefs for double protection!
4. They accent those calves. We know you probably skip leg day from time to time. If you don't, then all the more reason to show those rocks off.
5. Wear them underneath your pants in the dead of winter. You won't even notice they are there.
6. Wear them underneath your shorts at the gym. You won't even notice they are there, and they won't show your pasty thighs when you are doing upside down hanging sit-ups on the pullup bar.

We understand you might be a bit leary about wearing a capri. Call them 3/4 tights if you like. Ain't no difference to us, but we know you'll be satisfied.
