The Race to Rise Up is a virtual run, walk, and race for everyone, because we run farthest when we run together.
Choose your distance. 1 mile. 5k. Or 10k.
Run or walk. August 15 or 16.
Share your results. Your story. Your inspiration.
Event proceeds go towards the People's Justice Project, Black Girls RUN! Foundation, and Black Men Run Foundation.
How does a virtual event work? It's simple. You run or walk solo, record your time, and submit your results. You can use any course and take part at any time from August 15-16. We may be socially distant but we can still share in the race day experience as we work towards positive change.
All participants will receive a print featuring artwork from a recent Short North mural by Kelsey Yappel. Think of this print as your finisher's medal - one that you can display as a daily reminder of your support towards all of us working together.

Donated funds will go towards 2020 community organizing programming focused on voter registration, civic education, and advocacy on ending mass incarceration, anti-Black violence, and police brutality.
During registration, you can select to pick your packet up at a Columbus Running Company location or to have it mailed to you. We will have packets available at the Columbus Running Company from August 14-21.
