On May 18th, the National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association and E. Michelle Lee, local radio show host and sufferer of fibromyalgia will be hosting a 1 mile fun walk and 5k Run/Walk at Wolfe Park in Columbus, Ohio, in recognition of May 12th National Fibromyalgia Awareness Day 2014 as passed in the State of Ohio Senate (on to the House of Reps. now); to join in activities being held world wide by various people and organizations to help bring education, hope, and encouragement to over 10 million people living with FM who are in PAIN. Please join us!

Entry Fee:

Monies received from entry fees will go towards covering the cost of the race, tee shirts, brunch, awards, water supplies.
Registration and Packet Pickup
Registration Begins at 12:00 PM under the canopy
Tee shirts and wrist bands will be available at the registration table.
(We will accept same day participants, however, we cannot guarantee a tee-shirt in your size or brunch meal- please pre-register online or by mail in registration)

Awards Ceremony
At the conclusion of the race there will be an Awards Ceremony Brunch recognizing, volunteers, walkers, runners, and others for their contributions to the event. Entertainment is scheduled and will perform during the brunch. Jan Chambers, President of the National Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Association will key-note the event. E. Michelle Lee, local radio show host and publicist with PR With A Purpose, sufferer and advocate of Fibromyalgia; will be the emcee and special guest speaker.
All finishers will receive a “Walk To Cure FM” Tee Shirt and wrist band
The top five finishers in Walk To Cure FM 5k qualify for finisher awards: 19-under, 20-39, 40-59, 60-69, 70+,
The top five finishers in Walk To Cure FM 1 mile Fun Walk qualify for finisher awards: 19-under, 20-39, 40-59, 60-69, 70+,
Other special recognition awards will be presented. (including door prizes)
