Description
Join the EFWO for our annual celebration of hope. This year we are excited to announce a new theme inspired by the Flame of Hope: Glowing Galaxies! Let your inner star shine through on May 13, 2017 at the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery. Registration begins at 9:00am that day for those who don’t opt to use our online registration platform. At 10:00 am, take part in the 5K as a racer or a walker – and feel free to come dressed to fit our galaxy theme! But the fun doesn’t end there! Following the race will be free refreshments, an awards ceremony, and then a special planetarium presentation in the Boonshoft Museum’s Hall of the Universe. An exciting perk for those participating in this year’s event is provided by the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery: Free Admission to the entire museum for all registered participants! So bring your friends and family out and let’s keep the Flame of Hope alive and glowing!
