Description
This race is to support a fellow runner and friend, Jean Aschenbrenner. Jean burst onto the running scene with life, energy, and enthusiasm. Infecting everyone around her with her smile and exuberance for life. She was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in early 2016 and has been battling for almost 2 years. We want to help support Jean, lend her strength and love to continue to fight this disease by organizing a half marathon and 5K event in her honor. Proceeds from the event will go to support Jean and her fight against this terrible disease.
Jean's motto is "You may see me struggle, but you will never see me quit." Please show your support by participating in this empowering event!
This is a virtual race, so you can log your miles wherever you can. You will have from November 22nd to December 22nd to log either 3.1 miles or 13.1 miles, depending on which event you signed up for. When you have completed your miles, send the race director an e-mail. There are a limited number of medals available for these events, so the sooner you log the miles the better.
