Description
Come to Historic Delaware for the 2nd Annual Alpha Duck Waddle 5K. Runners of all levels and abilities are invited to participate. Whether you are setting a world record, personal best or just want to have fun we need your support to help the Alpha Group’s (a non-profit 501c-3) continuing mission of helping individuals with developmental disabilities.
The Alpha Duck Waddle 5K in conjunction with the Alpha Family Day & Duck Race will raise funds to help provide full integration and acceptance of individuals with developmental disabilities. Race proceeds will support the Alpha Group’s programs to help these individuals realize their full potential as equal members of society by providing training, job coaching, income, and community interaction.
Bring the entire family and enjoy a day of family fun after the 5K.
Additional Race Information
Early Packet Pickup
Save time in line on race day and visit The Alpha Group. On Thursday, August 4 and Friday, August 5 from 7:30AM-4:00PM, stop out to 1000 Alpha Drive in Delaware (43015) to pick up your packet and race number. Packets and race numbers will also be available at the race site on Saturday, August 6 beginning at 8:00am.
Race Course
We'll be running around Mingo Park on Saturday morning. The pathway around the park is 1 mile, so we'll be doing multiple loops to complete our distance.
Stick around after!
The famous Alpha Group Duck Races will follow the 5K at 10am.
