Celebrate the holidays with this family-friendly, untimed event. Venture through Penguin's Pass, enjoy the music of Caroler's Corner, and experience the joy of Candy Cane Lane during this run/walk/stroll held at Greenville City Park in Greenville, Ohio. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served at the finish line, courtesy of The Coffee Pot - just as Santa would want it!
A portion of the proceeds for this event will go to the FISH Choice Pantry to serve the emergency food needs of Darke County.
Packet pick-up will be held on Friday, December 6 from 5:00-6:00pm at Fit by Loy (120 W. Third St. Greenville, OH) and on Saturday, December 7 from 8:30-9:00am at the band shell, located at 725 E. Harmon Dr., in Greenville City Park.
Saturday Morning Parking
The Santa’s Stocking 5K begins at the band shell in Greenville City Park (725 E. Harmon Dr.). There is plenty of parking available at the band shell. You can also park at the Greenville High School football stadium parking lot, if you wish.
We will be utilizing streets, walkways, and the bike paths throughout Greenville City Park. There will be directional signs throughout the route notifying participants when the appropriate time is to turn and/or enter the bike paths. There will also be volunteers on hand to point you in the right direction.
Please note that, although there will be police on hand, the streets will be open to vehicles. For your safety, it is important for you to obey all traffic laws and to keep an eye out for vehicles. The route is flat, so visibility should be unobstructed.
We have recently been notified by the City of Greenville that they will not be opening the park restrooms for this event. We are working on finding an alternative location for restroom use, but please note that it will likely be a bit of a distance from the starting line. Please keep this in mind prior to arriving to the event. The Alice Bish Discovery Center is located around the 2 mile marker and will be open, if needed.
