Friends of SPL Virtual 5K

The Friends of Southwest Public Libraries Virtual 5K is a fun event that brings together people from throughout southwest Columbus and Grove City to support your local libraries. We know it’s a busy time of year, so that’s why we’re hosting a virtual event. What is a virtual 5K? Well, unlike an in-person 5K, you’ll have September 22 through October 21 to complete your walk or run. Second, you’ll need to record your own time and submit that to us when you’re done. And third, and this is our favorite part, you can complete your 5K anywhere you choose, like in a park; on a city street; along your favorite trail; in your neighborhood; or you can take the road less traveled. Just be sure to keep yourself and your family safe. Stay hydrated and wear reflective clothing or gear so motorists can see you.
