Join us for the 4-H Clover 5K at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Hilliard, Ohio. All funds raised by the 5K run/walk helps to support the 4-H Walk & Serve. By participating in the 5K Run/Walk you are supporting the Franklin County 4-H programs as well as over 10 area non-profit organizations!
Early registration allows time to order the correct number of shirts for all participants. We can only guarentee shirts will be available for those participants who have registered by March 26, 2024.
The 5K run/walk will start and finish on the track. This is a flat course with a mix of surfaces, which will include the horse track, paved roads and a section of packed crushed gravel all within the Fairgrounds property.
Your 2024 entry fee includes:
ALL race packets are to be picked up either Thursday, April 11 or Friday, April 12 from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Edwards Building at the Franklin County Fairgrounds. **Packets and t-shirts will not be mailed so make sure you swing by April 11 or 12! On race morning, packet pickup will begin at 7:30 AM. Race begins at 8:30 AM.
Free parking is available at the fair grounds. Follow the signs and/or parking attendants.
7:30 AM: Packet pick up if not already acquired. $30 if registering for race.
8:30 AM: Race Begins
• Post race activities: Made-to-order omelets, fresh fruit and bottled water. Volunteers will be the presiding chefs.
9:15 AM: Award Presentation
9:30 AM - Noon: Walk & Serve (*see below)

* The Walk & Serve is from 9:30 a.m. - Noon in the Ganyard and Edwards Buildings on the Franklin County Fair Grounds. Enthusiastic 4-H members will lead you through hands-on activities to create special items for Central Ohio residents/animals served by organizations such as: Ovarian Cancer Alliance, Stitched Together, Birthright International, Cancer Support Community of Central Ohio, Simply Living, Gigi’s Shelter for Dogs, MASH: Military and Service Heroes Food Pantry, American Cancer Society, Operation Evergreen, Blue Star Mothers, Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center, Enduring Hearts, Moms2B, Ohio Nurses Foundation, Hope Ministries, and the Hilliard Food Pantry.

Every runner gets a hand-stamped "Woodal" - a real wooden medal. We'll have medals and awards for the top overall male and female finisher, as well as for the top male and female runner in each age category: (13 and under, 14-15, 16-17, 18-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over). Results will be posted on this website.
