Description
Lace-up (or locate and dust off) those sneakers and bring the family for an evening of fun, food, and festivities to celebrate our students.
The inaugural Hoffman Trailblazer 5K and 1-mile Fun Run is designed to support Hoffman Trails Elementary School. In partnership with our amazing staff and teachers, the HTE PTO programs and supports school activities throughout the year, like assemblies, educational events, spirit days, and fundraisers… all dedicated to supporting the community of students and their families at Hoffman Trails.

Early Packet Pickup
Save time in line on race day and stop by the Columbus Running Company's Dublin location (6465 Perimeter Dr Dublin OH 43016) on Wednesday, April 24 (10a-8p) or Thursday, April 25 (10a-8p) to chat with the friendly staff at the CRC and get your race gear early. While you're in, check out the latest offerings on the sock wall and make sure your feet are all ready for race day!
Parking
There is plenty of parking at Hoffman Trails Elementary School, the surrounding neighborhood, and at Hilliard Darby High School. Plug 4301 Hoffman Farms Dr, Hilliard, OH 43026 into your GPS to see where you're going.
Race Day Timeline
- 3:45 PM - Race day check-in and registration* begin (*shirts are guaranteed to all registrants as of March 28, first-registered-first-served after from remaining available stock)
- 5:50 PM - Line up and final announcements
- 6:00 PM - The Hoffman Trailblazer 5K is underway!
- 6:05 PM - The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk begins!

Safety
Most of our routes are on multi-use pathways. Please stay to the right at all times and share the paths with your fellow participants and neighbors. There are volunteers and/or public safety officers at all road crossings, follow all instructions at those points. 5K participants will have water available around the halfway point on the route. If you need additional hydration, we strongly recommend bringing your own bottle of water to carry with you.
Strollers are allowed. We do ask that you start at the back of the pack and be courteous to all on the pathways. For the safety of all involved, participation with pets is not allowed. Also prohibited is participation on a bicycle, hoverboard, or anything other than your normal method of getting around!
