The 5K and 2-Mile events both start at 8:30 AM
Since 1997, the United Way 5K and 2 Mile Fun Walk has been a community favorite.
This event brings several hundred participants annually to the Fairfield County Fairgrounds in Lancaster. It's a closed 5K course. Cash prizes are awarded to the first, second, and third-place male and female finishers for the 5K.
Our traveling Participation Trophy has become very popular with local businesses. Trophies are awarded to the company with the largest number of participants (either walk or run) based on company size. It's a great opportunity to bring people together.

Special Pricing Details
- Civilian Race Fee $35 (prior to November 1)
- Student (age 21 and below) Race Fee $25 (discount automatically applies at checkout)
- Veterans Race Fee $15
Please Register by October 31, 2024. All fees after increase on November 1, 2024, to $45.
Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup
7:30-8:15 a.m. at the Fairgrounds. Race start is at the Grandstands at 8:30 am.
Long-sleeved race shirts
Register early! Long-sleeved shirts are guaranteed to the first 350 entrants.
Awards
5K: Prize Money to the Top 3 Overall Male/Female finishers, and awards to the Top 3 per age group both male/female. 5K age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
Traveling Trophies
Three (3) trophies will be awarded to the organizations with the largest number of participants based on company size. 0 - 25 Employees, 26 - 99 Employees, 100+ Employees.
