The Donahue Memorial Run is an annual running event in Northwest Ohio designed to promote running and support the running programs in the Evergreen Local School District. Originally started in 2006 by Karen Donahue as "Trot for a Track," the event raised funds for an all weather track at Evergreen High School in honor of her husband, Dennis Donahue, who died suddenly from a heart attack. The event grew to take on additional meaning when Karen and her grandson, Nash, were killed in a car crash in 2010.
