Start out your St. Patrick's Day Week with a hardy workout. Course consists of approximately 3.5 miles of mostly densely wooded, winding dirt/mud trails within Landen/Deerfield Park. Elevation changes of up to 50 feet with two calf-deep creek crossings. This event is hosted by Deerfield Township and is the first event in the 2020 Dirt Days Trail Series. The race distance is listed as 3.5 miles but your mileage may vary!

Dirt Days Trail Series:
This race is the first event in the 2020 Dirt Days Trail Series. This Series consists of eight dates and ten events. Events will include trail runs of varying distances from about 3 to 11 miles, including a night trail run.

Course:
The Course is advertised as about 3.5 miles. The course is a mix of relatively easy flat areas, wooded trails that wind through the trees, hills and several creek crossings. We are starting a little closer to the restrooms as in the past (Yeah!). Your mileage may vary.
Run Divisions:
Men & Women: 14/under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70/over.
Walk Divisions:
Men & Women 29/under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60/over.
Awards:
Overall Male and Female winners will receive a special prize. Age Group awards to the top in each division.
Door Prizes:
Random drawing for door prizes. Must be present to win.
Post Race and other amenities:
We will have a variety of treats and refreshments for you.
Awards presented immediately following the race/walk.
Chip Timing:
Once again, this year's race will be chip timed with Ipico shoe tags.

$15.00 per person Advance registration ( by March 12)

$17 per person online on Friday March 13, 2020.
Race-Day registration:
$20 per person
Race day registration and number pick up: From 7:30 am - 8:45 am at the venue
There is no early packet pick up for this race.

Long-sleeve Run for the Green T-shirts are available for $12 with pre-registration. Supplies are limited so pre-register if you want a shirt.

The Run for the Green is the first leg of the Dirt Days Trail Series. This is a unique series of trail events in the Greater Cincinnati area. This Series consists of eight dates and ten events. Events will include trail runs of varying distances from about 2 to 11 miles, including a night trail run.. It includes combining your performances in various events to see who are the Dirtiest Dozen men and women. We are excited to be able to put on these slightly different events for the local running community. Run one race or sign up for the series and run them all!

No exchanges or transfers please.
Once again, this year's race will be chip timed with Ipico shoe tags. All Times will be read electronically. You do not have to have a tag to participate but you must have a tag to receive a time. To receive a time, you must properly attach shoe tag to your shoe. No tag, no time! Shoe tags will be distributed on race-day only. Tags are re-usable and will be collected at the finish line. If you are given a tag, you must agree to return it for reuse. Check out the video to see how to properly attach your timing chip.
