Description

The David Foster Memorial Run is being held to gain awareness for tobacco use prevention as well as early detection of lung cancer. This race honors the life of David Foster, brother of Creekview Teacher, Becky Shaffer.

In 2011, David's life was cut short by lung cancer due to smoking. The race also serves as a kick off to National Kick Butts Day to educate kids about the harms of smoking. Participants are encouraged to come race and help us in "Kicking Lung Cancer's Butt"!.
