On June 10, 2023 we will be hosting our Annual LOVE like JJ 5k to benefit LOVE like JJ! This year’s event will again have both In Person and Virtual options, you can walk or run - however and wherever it works best for you! Our event was created to celebrate JJ's bright light, and fundraise so LOVE like JJ can continue spreading joy and supporting children in our community.

2023 Special Guest and Emcee: We are thrilled to share we will have Bengals Football Placekicker, Evan McPherson, as our Special Guest and Emcee for the event.

Benefit:

Race proceeds will go to support the great work of LoveLikeJJ, a 501(c)(3) organization. Check out the Love Like JJ website for complete details about our organization and how we make a positive impact on the lives of children within our community.

With money raised from the 5k, LOVE like JJ plans to implement a playground area at Family Promise of Warren County’s new location in Lebanon. This new location will house families in need of shelter. As a way to make this new location feel like a home for the time the families will be staying, a playground would be a wonderful added feature. We plan to install a play area, swings, basketball court, gaga pit and more!

Details:

Everyone who registers by May 16, 2023* will receive a special LOVE like JJ 5k 2023 performance t-shirt and commemorative medal.

The In Person 5k will have music, drinks and snacks, an opportunity to support our sponsors, and entertainment for kids! An estimated timeline for the In Person event is below:

7:30am: Check-in Opens

8:20am: Race Line Up and Announcements

8:30am: 5k Begins

9:30: Winners Announced

Age Divisions:

Male and Female: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over

Awards:

Top Male and Female in each age division

Virtual Option:

If you cannot make it to our In Person event, you can still support the event by doing your own 5K on your course. You can submit your time to our Virtual results page. 

Registration fee:

$25 for Adults.

$20 for Kids 17 and under.

Everyone who registers by May 16, 2023* will receive a special LOVE like JJ 5k 2023 shirt and commemorative medal. Please note, early registration date has been established  to ensure t-shirts are received in a timely manner for printing and distribution prior to race day. Any registration after May 16 is not guaranteed a t-shirt.

Chip Timing: This year's 5K event will be timed using MyLaps Disposable bib tags. The chip will be on the bib number. No need to turn in pull tags or return the timing chip.

The 5K will include chip timing. 

New this year: $7 Dog Registration! Each dog registered will get a LOVE like JJ 5k 2023 bandana and a yummy way to cool off after the race. Registration deadline to receive a bandana is June 3rd, 2023.

Early Packet pick up and check in: Thursday, June 8th from 5-8 at Crossroads Mason, 990 Reading Road,Mason, OH 45040

Race Day Check-in will be from 7:30 to 8:15 am at the race venue.
