LOVE like JJ 5K Run and Walk

On June 11, 2022 we will be hosting our Annual LOVE like JJ 5k to benefit LOVE like JJ! Our event was created to celebrate JJ's bright light, and fundraise so LOVE like JJ can continue spreading joy and supporting children in our community. The LOVE like JJ 5k 2022 will have both In Person and Virtual options! You can walk or run - however and wherever it works best for you.

Benefit:

Race proceeds will go to support the great work of the LoveLikeJJ, a 501(c)(3) organization. Check out the Love Like JJ website for complete details about this organization and its work.

This year's 5k will be supporting the Mason Challenger League's building of Adaptive Ball Fields at Makino Park in Mason

Details:

Everyone who registers by May 14, 2022* will receive a special LOVE like JJ 5k 2022 performance t-shirt and commemorative medal.

This year, we are excited to announce we will be having a timed 5k!  Running Time will be there to enhance the 5k experience for all.  Runners and walkers will be split into age groups. Prizes will be awarded. Details to come. 

Also new this year, we will have a Fun Run for children not participating in the timed 5k. Age for the Fun Run will be limited to children 8 and under.

The in person event will have music, snacks, an opportunity to support our sponsors, and entertainment for kids! An estimated timeline for the In Person event is below:

7:30am: Check-in Opens
8:50am: Line Up and Announcements
9:00am: 5k Begins
10:00am: End of 5k , Fun Run Begins
10:15:  Winners Announced

Virtual Option:

If you cannot make it to our "LIVE" event, you can still support the event by doing your own 5K on your course. You can submit your time to our Virtual results page. 

Registration fee:

$25 for Adults and $20 for Kids 17 and under. Everyone who registers by May 14, 2022* will receive a special LOVE like JJ 5k 2022 shirt and commemorative medal. Please note, early registration date has been established due to extremely long delays with product availability.  This ensures t-shirts are received in a timely manner for printing and distribution prior to race day. We may have some shirts available after May 14, but don't count on it. 

The 5K will include chip timing. 

You may sign up through race day online from your computer, tablet or smart phone.

Packet Pick up and Check-in:

Early Packet pick up and check in is on Thursday, June 9th from 4-8 at Sonder Brewing 8584 Duke Blvd Mason, OH 45040

Race Day Check-in will be from 7:30 to 8:45 am at the race venue.
