Description
Join us for our 2nd annual 22q11.2 deletion syndrome awareness walk!
Last year we were blown away with 138 participants and nearly $4,000 raised!
We cannot thank everyone enough & we are beyond excited to walk with you all again this year!
The my22qt mission: raise awareness, educate, help other diagnosed families cope, and pay it forward to the genetics division of Akron Children’s Hospital for expansion in research & services
The walk will take place on Sunday, July 28th, 2024.
Please meet with everyone at the Jackson North Park pavilion.
Registration begins at 9 am and the walk will start at 10 am.
The track at the park is 1.1 miles. We will be going around twice for our total of 2.2.
Please do not feel obligated to walk the entire route if you are unable.
This event will take place RAIN OR SHINE! And then hang out after for a provided lunch from Texas Roadhouse & raffle giveaways!
All participants will receive one free raffle ticket. Others can be bought at the walk or earned by making a donation to Akron Children's Hospital or the my22qt foundation. *Donations can be made upon registering, or by cash, check, or Venmo at the walk.*
