The ninth annual Hornet Dash 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run, presented by the Highland Alumni Association in Partnership with the Highland Foundation for Educational Excellence, takes place on Sunday, June 9th, 2024, at Highland High School.
The address for Highland High School is: 4150 Ridge Road, Medina, Ohio 44256.
On-site registration and packet pick-up takes place from 7:30am-8:30am inside the stadium.
Start Time & Course Description
The 1-Mile Fun Run takes place at 8:30am. The 1-Mile Fun Run is four laps around the track.
The chip-timed 5K begins at approximately 9:00am.
The 5K begins and ends at the Highland High School Stadium and the course is a mixture of road and trail.
Additional Information
This is a fun community running and walking event over varied terrain with balloon art, face painting and more.
Registration includes your commemorative t-shirt!
Coffee, Gatorade and breakfast food items will be available for purchase and proceeds benefit the Foundation.
Kona Ice of Medina and Brunswick will also be at the event donating all proceeds to the Foundation!
