Rainbow Run 5k

June 14th 2025 Rainbow Run 5K is back! 
A colorful Pride fundraiser, all proceeds will be going to the 2025 Middletown Pride event on June 20th!
This is a color run style race/fun run! There will be color powder thrown on racers as you pass by the stations, we will provide a "detour" cone to go around if you prefer not to have the color thrown at you. 

Rainbow Run 5K:
This is for any and everyBODY! Runners and walkers are all welcome!
Route will take us around Smith Park's outer loop twice, with color bomb stations along the way. (The color powder is made from cornstarch)

Race t-shirt:
Rainbow Run t-shirts are an additional $15.00. These will be all white shirts at the start of the race, but by the end they will have all the colors of the rainbow!
To guarantee a shirt make sure to sign up by May 30th.

Time:
4:00pm: Race Check-In
5:00pm: Rainbow Run 5k starts
6:00pm: Award ceremony
After party at NEW Ales immediately after Awards

Simple steps to make color run powder stay on a shirt and keep the memories: *results may vary
1) Promptly change out of your colored gear and do not shake off excess color
2) Lay shirt flat and spray to soak with white vinegar
3) Keep the t-shirt flat to dry and iron with high heat
4) Toss in the dryer
6) Wash and wear
