Sunshine's Walk, Run & Roll

Please join us on September 9, 2017 for Sunshine's 20th Annual Walk, Run & Roll! Participate in the competitive 5K Run and/or a nature Walk or Roll along the Wabash Cannonball Trail. Come and see how Sunshine creates life-enriching relationships among people with developmental disabilities and the family and friends who support them!

Sunshine Communities is a non-profit organization that provides services to people with developmental disabilities in the Toledo area and across northwest Ohio.

Sunshine’s mission is to create community among people with developmental disabilities. We do this by offering services that enable all of us to build relationships that enhance our lives through mutual caring and growth. In pursuit of this mission:

We practice Christian values in the tradition of the Mennonite faith
We embrace the vision of our founders, Roy and Georgette Engler
We strengthen our community by serving the underserved

Even though some of Sunshine's funding comes from state and federal sources, such as Medicaid, there is still a large amount that we need to raise to allow Sunshine to run smoothly. Our donors keep Sunshine Communities going - providing all of the services and programs that increase the quality of life at Sunshine and our community. We couldn't do it without YOU!
