JingleDog 5k 2023

JingleDog is a 5k and 1-mile fun run through the beautiful trails of Monroe Falls. 

This 5k is an annual RunningDog fundraiser. RunningDog is a volunteer program in Northeastern OH whose mission is to keep the adoptable dogs physically active, mentally stimulated and emotionally balanced using a running and mentoring program. All funds collected help us recruit, train and equip runners to help us in our mission.

We encourage our runners to bring their furry family member and take advantage of our dog-friendly race. 

All dogs must be on a six-foot leash (or shorter) at all times.  No retractable leashes are allowed for either the 5k or Fun Run.  We strongly encourage participants to keep their dogs 10 feet away from other dogs or other people, whenever possible to minimize any altercations.   

We will have RunningDog volunteers participating in the race with adoptable shelter dogs.  We ask all participants to respect the 10-foot boundary around the shelter dogs and their handlers.  If you are a certified RunningDog volunteer, you are responsible for picking up any dog you would like to bring with you from the race. Please coordinate with the partner shelter prior to pick up.

And if you don't have a dog, don't worry...we will have plenty of holiday cheer for humans too!

Packet Pickup

All registered participants will need to pick up their race packets and swag at the event on race day.  

Online registration only on race day. There will be no paper/cash sign ups on race morning.

Race Schedule- Saturday, December 2nd
8am- Packet Pickup Opens
8:50- Announcements at the start line
9:00- Running Dog Volunteers with Shelter Dogs start 5k
9:05- All other 5k participants start
9:07- Mile Fun Run start
9:15-10:30- Hot chocolate and puppuccino stand open for participants
Important Note: There will not be a fluid station on the course. Please bring your own drink if you prefer to have one on the course. Refreshments will be available at the finish line. 

Awards

Awards will be issued for 5K participants. The overall top 3 male and female runners, and first place male and female master's runners will receive a prize.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued for this race.

In the event that our permit for this race is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, all registrations will be transferred to the following year.
