Run, jog or walk to celebrate Mom during this annual 5K from Summit Metro Parks!
The stroller-friendly course for this chip-timed races travels twice around the scenic Munroe Falls Lake. Proceeds benefit the Summit Metro Parks Foundation.
Runners 14 and younger are free with at least 1 adult registration.
All participants, including free runners, must be registered.
The chip timed 5k begins at 8:00am
The course is not ADA compliant, but wheelchair athletes and jogging strollers are welcome. The course surface is asphalt.
The event is held rain or shine. There are no refunds.
Paid participants, ages 15 and older, will receive a free shirt. T-shirts for ages 14 and under may be purchased during online registration for $10 each. Shirts are available on a first registered, first serve basis and may not be available to those who register the final week before the event.
Wagons, bikes, scooters and rollerblades are not permitted on the course.
Pet spectators (on leashes, 8-foot max) are welcome, but not allowed on the course.
Please note: Spectators and participants should arrive BEFORE 8 am because the park entrance closes for the race.
Pre-race packet pickup is available Friday, May 10th and Saturday, May 11th at F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm (1828 Smith Rd., Akron), from noon to 4 pm
Race registration is available until 4:00pm on Saturday, May 11th!

The top male and female 1st and 2nd place finisher for each age group is awarded their name engraved in the Munroe Falls walkway. The top male and female 1st place finisher overall is awarded their name engraved in the Munroe Falls walkway, a “First Place” engraved brick to take home on race day.
The top male and female 2nd place finisher overall is awarded their name engraved in the Munroe Falls walkway, a “Second Place” engraved brick to take home on race day.
The top male and female 3rd place finisher overall is awarded a “Third Place” engraved brick to take home on race day.
