Marburn Academy LD Dash 2023

October is Learning Disabilities and Dyslexia Awareness Month! Join us for the Inaugural LD DASH to raise awareness and funds so that students with learning differences have access to the services needed to reach their potential. 100% of proceeds raised will benefit need-based scholarships at Marburn Academy, an independent day school devoted to serving the educational needs of bright students who learn differently due to dyslexia, executive function difficulties, and attention challenges.

Race Day Questions Answered!

Packet Pick-Up

Race packets will be available for pickup 11 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27 at Marburn Academy (9555 Johnstown Rd, New Albany). Packets are also available day of race on Sunday, October 29 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the registration area near the event starting line.

Registration

It’s not too late to register and/or bring a friend! You can register online or at the course the day of the event. Registration will be located in the courtyard, between New Albany Middle and High School. Race t-shirts will be available on race day (some sizes limited).

Parking

Please park in the New Albany Middle School lot, located directly behind the Hinson Amphitheater (170 E Dublin Granville Rd, New Albany, OH 43054). 

Restrooms

Restrooms are located inside the New Albany Middle School gym/cafeteria building. Please use the entrance facing starting line. 

5K Race Route

Can be found below. The full 5K run will loop the route 2x. Watch for the course markers!

Kids’ Dash: 

Will begin promptly at 1:30pm at the race starting line. Race is approximately .15mi. All Kids’ Dash participants receive a finisher medal. Costumes are welcome!

Awards:

Awards will be given to the top three overall in the 5K race. Awards will be presented immediately after finishing.
