Care Walk 2022

Walk with us!
The CARE Walk team believes our children should grow up in a world without breast cancer… or cancer of any kind.  We hope you share our dream and will step up to our challenge.  We will walk, jog, or run a well-marked 5K (or optional one-mile) route through Oakwood.  We do not walk along or cross major thoroughfares, but we encourage parents to participate with their children and require children under 12 to be accompanied by an adult. 

Since we began in 2001, we have raised almost $300,000 for local breast cancer causes, thanks to our walkers and generous sponsors.  We have divided our sponsors into levels of giving to recognize the extent of their contributions.  We would not continue to grow and reach so many in our community without our sponsors.  Please support them by shopping locally, and when you visit their businesses, thank them for their support of CARE Walk.  

Where your money will go:
One-hundred percent of CARE Walk’s proceeds fund breast cancer education, treatment, and prevention programs in Dayton.  CARE Walk is staffed completely by volunteers to maximize the good your contributions can do.

Arrive early!
We pamper our walkers with hot drinks, water, bagels, and fruit at the start/finish line.

$25 for Individual Adult Entry
$15 for Youth Entry (calculated automatically based on birthday of registrant)
$55 for a Family Entry
