Strides for Laura 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Fun Walk

Laura Buckeye lost her battle with breast cancer 5 years ago. She is dearly missed by all those who knew her. She was a runner so we decided we wanted to honor her on this 5 year anniversary by having a 5k Run/Walk on the very path she would take along the lake in West Branch Park. We are having a shorter 1 mile Fun Walk as well. There will be food & drink and other surprises afterwards.

We have created a non-profit organization called Strides for Laura. Proceeds from the event will be split amongst families in their greatest time of need that have been touched by this horrible disease. The Registration fee for the 5K is $25 each & $20 an individual / $40 a family for the 1 mile walk.

If you don't want to participate in the run or walk, please join us to celebrate Laura anyway.. You can come help cheer on our participants & come enjoy the day. There will be a bake sale & raffle baskets & other surprise activities!
