Fall Classic Half Marathon & 5K

Join the Cleveland West Road Runners for the 40th Anniversary running of the Fall Classic 1/2 marathon and 5K. Over the past 4 decades, thousands of runners have enjoyed this fast scenic course run entirely in the beautiful Cleveland Metroparks. This late autumn race will be the highlight of your Fall running season so sign up now for this great tradition.

The course is a double loop, flat, fast course mostly on the scenic valley parkway road. The race is capped at 1000 runners. To keep the impact at a minimum to the Cleveland Metroparks we encourage everyone to carpool. Parking is at the RTA parking lot at the corner of Rt. 80 entrance and Pearl Road.

Walkers are welcome with an early start time at 08:15 a.m. The Half Marathon kicks off at 09:00 a.m. and the 5K will begin at 09:15 a.m.

The race is chip timed. Following the race there will be food for all runners. The Overall winner, first Master and first Grand Master receive awards along with top 3 in each age group. Cool "Fox" Medals will be given to all Half Marathon finishers. All children 14 & under will be given medals in the 5K. Long sleeve technical performance fabric shirts will be included for first 700 paid registrations (adult sizes only).  Demand is strong and limited quantities remain in certain sizes.  An alternate design shirt will be substituted when original design shirts run out.  Children 14 & under running free do NOT receive a shirt unless purchased separately.
